Anyone know when were gunna see the original revision 1 590's updated? eg better cooling, overclocking and no flames lol

I got no room in my case to run SLI and will never ever buy ATI again so this is my only real option.
 
Nvidia might not bother to fix it as amd are rumoured to have the 7000 series coming in the not to distant future. Its not as if the gtx590 is gonna be a huge earner for them. They will probably leave the fixing of the card to company's like asus,msi,gigabyte and evga who will probably bring out there own custom design's. If you look at the gtx590 on here there is only 1 brand to buy from gigabyte which tells you how much of a fail the card actually is atm.

Unless nvidia change there design strategy they should probably leave out building dual gpu cards to amd who have the correct strategy in place to keep power down to safe levels while keeping the performance.

Before the 590 was widely blowing up the 6990 was still faster and cheaper.
Fixing the blowing up still won't make it any faster unless EVGA or someone makes a super beefed up version which will be a limited edition of a limited production run... I would hate to think how much that would cost.

Get a 580, watercool it and overclock it like hell. Pretty good option considering its still cheaper in the end.
