So its out, it puts out around 13500 per core.

So around 27K @ 350W & £600+ per card. (two clients)

4 x 27K = 108K = 1400W = £2400

/me runs back to bigadv

The same outlay as an SR-2 by the time you factor in the rest of the rig, twice the power consumption and half the PPD. Its a no brainer right there.

Definately not worth it from the £ per ppd viewpoint, but surely bragging rights would justify the outlay ;)......runs into hiding

Am still 2 sandwiches short of a picnic in some respects but last few months have changed things a lot.....not completely ruling out momentary madness on an epic scale from time to time :D

I'm up your end of the country in a couple of weeks T, don't think I'll be able to get away though, she who belongs in the kitchen won't be too happy me running off to meet internet friends again.

:D Best keep nearest n dearest happy i agree, not considered getting her involved in it all she might suprise you.
Thinking along that vein might be an idea to try and organize a meet up sometime see how many folders n crunchers etc we can fit in a phone box at the same time...the usual stuff :D

Team DC meet doesn't sound like a bad idea, I've tried to get her involved indoors but she's not bothered. As long as it lets her on bookface and she can play Sims 3 she's happy.

Scary?

Meeting the other members or something that happened. She wasn't too happy to meet going to the motors meet last weekend either, apparently meeting random people off the internet isn't acceptable

Scary? Sounds interesting!!

I don't think you can blame her, there is no way my other half would come to meet people of the internet.

She was reluctant at first but said I could go if I took a friend.

Heck my dad and step-mum met on a chat room and have been together 10 years
