It has the same amount of shaders as a GTX650TI but with a higher base clockspeed and a 192 bit memory controller.

I wonder if it will hit HD7850 level performance??

Actually I think not just this segment...but the £200 +/- range as well.

AMD could have just had the 7750 at £65-£70, 7850 1GB at £100-£110, 7850 2GB at £130-£140, 7950 at £200, 7970 at £300 and be done with it, but they just "had to" squeeze the 7870 and 7870 XT in to bump the price of 7950 to £240 on average...
