Ive had a 680 for a while now, been very happy with it so far. But ive been trying to OC it but cant seem get more than +60MHz out of the core. Is that all i can expect from it?

With my OC I'm getting 1241MHz, with the Power Target set to 115%, and Core +60MHz and the Memory +505MHz. Its already factory OC'd anyway - Its an EVGA SC Signature card, so the boost starts at 1058MHz instead of 1006MHz.

Also its water cooled (EK Water block and back plate) so temperature isn't an issue.

Any help to push this card a little further would be much appreciated!

+60 on a pre-overclocked card is pretty good tbh, I remember my ref 680 couldn't do more than +70 from stock speeds without the drivers crashing.

That's silicone lottery for you :)

did you up the voltage in Precision X? Try lowering the memory back to 0 & seeing if that will allow you more on the core too. Once you reach the wall again on the core slowly up the memory again.

Ive upped the Power Target in Presicion X, but haven't tried manually setting the voltage to anything.

I've bought a second 680 since writing the original post, seems to pretty much destroy most games now! so not feeling the need to OC anymore for now (probably wont last long!)
