GTX680s not clocking down @ idle

I installed a soundcard + software (asus) the other day and this is the only thing I've changed with my system.

Now my gpus are running at some kind of non-boost elevated clock. (no o/c, @ stock) stock bios = 1110mhz core 3005mhz mem, ln2 bios = 1202mhz core.

Usage is low as expected (idling at 2%/0%)

Anyone else experienced this?

I get this when my THX software is running in the background. I close it and my clocks jump back down lol. No idea why having it open clocks up the gpu but it does. When i close the THX software my sound doesn't change, it's still running just not the actually software editing part of it.

Strange huh.

Try reinstalling drivers. I had something similar a while back.

Yep it's all back to normal after a fresh driver install. It remains to be seen whether it's a conflict with the asus/dolby software or just a random driver issue.
