Hi guys
I just upgraded from a HD7970 to a gtx690.
Before removing the HD7970 I uninstallede all AMD drivers, CCC etc and then removed the card.
I then installede the gtx690 and downloaded the newest drivers from nvidia's website. Everything works fine, except dota 2.
After I play 1 game of dota 2 the dota main menu starts to lag really bad (in game dota 2 there are is no lag) and I can only solve the problem by closing dota and starting it up again, but then the problem appears again after the next game is over.
Funny thing is the problems seem to cross over to internet explorer / steam. So for instance if I play 1 game of dota and then exit I will get crashes when starting up internet explorer or other games via steam, but only after playing dota.
Only change to the whole system is the gtx690. I tried rolling back to driver 310.90, but no change. Can the Nvidia drivers be causing all these problems? And why is it only affecting dota 2?
Cheers from Denmark
