Just wondering if this is possible before I buy myself a second monitor.
I currently have my PC monitor connected to my PC via displayport, and my TV connected via HDMI, the displays are cloned, and all works fine.
What I would like, is to have a second monitor connected via displayport, with the desktop extended, but maintain the "clone" of the primary display on the TV, e.g.:
| ---------DisplayPort -----> Monitor 1 (image 1)
PC | ---------DisplayPort -----> Monitor 2 (image 2)
| -----------HDMI-----------> TV (image 1)
Is this a supported configuration?
The alternative I guess is to connect monitor 1 with HDMI and use a HDMI splitter?
