Morning all,

Mods - Feel free to move to Home and Garden however I felt this was more of a 'general' topic.

If your mattress or mattress topper had a 5-15 year guarantee and it lost support/wasn't so comfortable, would you be fine to the cost to get the product back to the place you purchased it from? Or if the offered a £10 collection fee perhaps to make it more convenient?

In return, you recieve a brand new mattress or mattress topper for free.

UPDATE: Of course if you don't cover postage, you don't get a replacement so does that change your mind?

If it’s a manufacturing fault then no, doesn’t consumer law state you’re not responsible for these exact costs?

If it’s not a manufacturing fault but not lived up to expectations and they offer a free unit but I have to pay shipping, seems fair enough!

Do you have any info on this exact consumer law? Thank you!
