Does anyone who currently subscribes know how I could get a subscription that covers the Android app and also the Web access? Currently I have the Android subscription via Google Play, however when I sign in to the website it's like I haven't subscribed?

I didn't think that the app subscription covers the website. The print subscription is more expensive but covers everything.

Ah, so if I get the print subscription then I can log in by any method and my subscription is recognised? If so, thanks that's all I wanted to know.

With declining advertising revenues it's more important than ever to support good sources of journalism like the guardian.

Absolutely. If I'm going to read a publication then it's only reasonable that I pay for it; people have worked to provide it and it cost the publisher money to provide it.

Some people prefer targeted advertisements as their method of payment, others don't even realise that choice was made for them.

The Guardian's opinion pieces tend to be a total joke but its investigative journalism is generally of a high standard IMO.

Exactly. Anyone who reads any news publication needs to understand that there will be a level of editorial bias somewhere along the line. It's about separating the wheat from the chaff.

Dictating to people which news publication they should read is one step removed from dictating what thoughts they should think.

This place is full of little Hitler types in places, and this is not a "conservative forum" :p
