Guess what this is

I saw a photo on MSN which I think looks pretty interesting and not that obvious, at least to my eyes, as to what it is. Otoh, you might already be saying "well it's obviously.....why couldn't the OP see that??" Can you guess what this is and do you have any other obscure pictures we can try and guess?

Yep, it looked like a stained glass window to me at first.

However, I believe the others are correct. It's from an aerial view of photos of China, and the description is 'Terraced fields near Tiger-Mouth Village, Yuanyang, Yun'nan, China.'
