I'm not asking for no reason. While I am considering getting an Amp and Speakers to connect all my stuff up to in the 2nd bedroom, I was wondering if I really needed to worry about HD Audio capabilities!

Amps that handle high def audio aren't exactly extortionate, considering that blu-rays make use of these codecs i wouldn't consider it a bad idea to buy one.
