Kinda expected it after the wednesday delay i had a powercolour 5970 pre-ordered.

However, last night on a stroke of luck (while trawling competitor sites) i came across one ASUS 5970 instock! ordered it, half expecting it to be a mistake and head to pre-order... nope, win shipped last night, got it this morning. So someone has moved up the queue here at OcUK as i cancelled my powercolour 5970 (that i was told last thursday i was at the top of the list for the next stock).

I pre-orderd a Sapphire 5970 from somewhere else on day 0 with an expected date for pre orders (of limited amount) set for 27th (today) and phoned up to chase the order and was told they cant tell me what happened since none of the managers where there anymore and that i'd be contacted by one on monday.

Been waiting 10 days and was hoping for a 27th dispatch and saturday delivery for a long weekend of testing, this is a massive disappointment

I guess with the same ETAs as OCUK its probably delayed for the same reason, if you guys happen to know why I'd appreciate you sharing with the rest of us

I would usually cancel my order after unprofessional behaviour like this, except for 2 reasons, I nabbed my preorder on day 0 for £443 and they're not in stock anywhere else :/

OCUK are pretty useless with pre-orders. I know it's a pain, but it's best just to F5 the site when new cards are on the horizon...that's how I got 1/5 5850s that came into stock a few weeks ago.
