If you are on the guest list to a gig does this allow you to have any special privilidges like going back stage, apart from getting in for free?

depends on the gig
usually just gets you through the door
bigger gigs you'll probably get a laminate or sticker which might get you some other priviledges, backstage is fairly unlikely though

it is a dirty pretty things gig in kentish town forum. Carl Barat was the person that has put us on the list. Does this make it any more likely as he is the main singer?

Probably not. In my experience it just gets you free entry.

If you know the guy then you shouldn't have any problems getting invited backstage, and to the parties afterwards.

If you don't know him and you're just coming here to boast that Carl Barat has put you on a guestlist, you need to get a life.

it will just get you entry, but as said if you know him then you'll get escorted backstage/to aftershow

It really depends on who gets you on the guest list. The only times I've been on them were for really busy gigs with expensive tickets, so I was guaranteed entry and for free .
