This probably sounds like a daft question, but we have a consultant here at work from another company, who needs to log onto our network and have access to network resources. Currently he logs onto his laptop using his Windows credentials, and obviously his laptop is set to his works domain.

I have set him up with an account on the network, so that he maps a network drive or refreshes it and it asks for a username and password, but this doesn't always work, the same goes for printing...

So, what would be the best way for him to connect to our network, and not to have issues everytime he is here..?

Create a computer account for the machine in AD using the machine's GUID, so that the domain knows it's an authenticated machine. That should sort out some of your issues.
