Guidance for a Custom 'Gaming PC' Budget £1200

Hey guys, and girls..

I've been doing some research the past few weeks regarding the custom build of a gaming PC, and well it brought me here!, to OCUK, so hi all, and here it goes..

My budget is a MAX of £1200, around the £1000 mark would be beneficial to my funds mind you. What I'm looking for is something that will simply eat up games for breakfast, but also allows for super fast rendering times as the beast will be used primarily for 3DS MAX and gaming.

I'd prefer to opt for Intel over AMD, something along the lines of the i7 3770K w/ GTX 670, and a SSD for boot/OS and secondary 1TB min storage.

Any feedback will be greatly appreciated from you guys, as you's have experience with the products. Anything you can recommend will be awesome.

Sorry, my apologies i wasn't really clear at all.. DUH!

A full system purchase, not looking to build/assemble myself.

I'm looking at purchasing the Asus MX239H, though that's not included in the budget.

OS, still undecided on whether on 7 or 8, recommendations? (I'm coming from an Apple background).

Mouse and keyboard aren't essential, but would consider.

I'm working today but off tomorrow so will have a sit down and play around with the selections and see what I like and shall hopefully look to order Monday!
