Guidance Upgrade

Currently have an XFX Radeon R7 250a (2GB) card that supports only 1080p max with DVI-D, no DP ... but does support 4096 x 2160 (HDMI).

I would like some advice in relation to changing the card so it gives me the Display port option that will support high end resolution ( 1440p ) or at least a DVI-D that will support that res.

Not using for Gaming at all, only for image and picture quality if that makes sense.

Any help would be appreciated.

Does it definately not support dual link on the DVI? Looking around suggests it should although theres a few different versions of that card.

It does support DVI-D but only at a max res of 1080p, and i wanted that at least 1440p
