GUIDE: How to get a Konami ID within 20 Mins!!!

I tried all day and got soooo **bleep** off with errors and timeouts, but I used my noggin and have created a way to get in within a few minutes (if you're lucky) and a maximum of 20 mins (if you're unlucky)


1.You need Firefox

2.Goto Tools Add ons, Get Extensions

3.Find the AutoFormer add on and install it and restart the browser
goto https://id.konami.net and click register (Blue button on the left) - might take a while but keep trying

4.Enter your date of birth and go to edit in Firefox menu and find AutoFormer, click Save all fields - this will now save you entering the DOB again if you need to come back to this stage

5.click next

6.Wait until the terms show before clicking next again

7.Fill out the entire form carefully, don't rush you have all the time in the world. Make sure you don't use capitals in username, and make sure game id password is all numbers. Make sure phone number and postcode have no spaces

8.now before clicking next click edit again and AutoFormer>save all fields
Click next, it'll probably fail due to time taken to complete the form. Don't worry

9.Start again, this time your DOB should be auto inserted click next to terms, click next to form, click next to confirmation click next and you're done -
SIMPLE!!!


This guide worked for me first time so i hope it works for you.:cool:

KONAMI ID has now been made available for the METAL GEAR ONLINE PREMIERE β test.
Just select your region and language then click on the Register button. Once there, simply follow the instructions and soon you will have your own KONAMI ID.

When creating your KONAMI ID, you will be required to register the country you live in as there are regional differences in ONLINE games and services which are available.

I asked the same hence the edit :D

All I can remember of MGS was playing it on the PS with no memory card, played it for like 48hr and got really far before someone unplugged it to do the hoovering :[
I dont have the patience for this game tbh unless there is an option to just pull out an assault rifle and stuff the stealth.

I dont have the patience trying to register it, spent an hour with no luck, konami can stick it.
 
I finally got it. What a pain and unnccesarily difficult process. You would have thought that they "might" have anticipated the extra server usage and acted accordingly. Thanks Tizzer.
