Guide to build a PC

Hey guys, I'll be buying and building my first PC soon. I know pretty much most of it, well I think so but could someone link me to a good guide that will show how to build it from scratch. Want to do my reading on it before I mess about.

All my Dad and I ever used were the CPU and motherboard manuals, its tells you how to do everything (well the ASUS one did).

what you need to think about..

the cpu you want (intel)
the socket motherboard for that (775)
the ram to get for motherboard (get ddr2 motherboard)
gfx card (pci express)
hard drive (sata)

decent power supply (corsair hx520)
case

build complete!

I know what to buy, just need to know EXACTLY how to build it. Not too much trouble though.

Trust me dude, when you have the parts in front of you, it's almost completely obvious what to do as things only go together one way. The guides help with timing really, what to hook up when.
