Guide to Starting a Data Science Career

Hi Guys

Data Scientist is one of the current in demand skills (according to LinkedIn most in demand lists for the year). I found a good article about getting started in this career field:

It's a good career if you like statistics, maths, algebra, algorithms, programming (python) and machine learning.

I thought this might be of interest to some people round here. Do let me know if I was right.

According to the SAS user group and comunity, based off a test we did it classes us developers as Data Scientist's as well.

I'm re vamping my CV as I fancy a move from my current role - maybe see wheat else is out there not 100% but always worth doing some fishing see what bites

interesting, not really considered it, but certainly something I would (I've always said my dream job would be Lab assistant/technician).
