Guidence needed for a first time OCer

Want to give OC a go then, there are loads of options to change in the BIOS and I've no idea where to start.

There's an auto option that increases performance 10% which took it to 2.87GHz but apart from that I'm bewildered. :confused:

Athlon II X4 Quad Core 620
Asus M4A785D-M Pro
Corsair XMS2 2GB

Appreciate any help getting started.

Use the search for some overcloking guides mate and you can always search some of my threads on 620 clocking...get as far as you can then we can give you a hand

Well I did try that, saw your thread where you got yours to 3 GHz. Everything I've read refers to things I've never heard of though so it's just jiberish.

lol all your threads I had already read... if they do help I'm not getting it. Probably because I don't have a clue what the hell I'm doing.
