Guides? Dual booting!?

So I got Vista Ultimate 64 on my PC and my iphone requires a 32bit OS so I wanna just install Vista U 32 along side 64.

I have never tried before so I wanna know, is it easy? How do I go about doing so?

Instead you could set-up a virtual PC using VMWare or VirtualBox.

If you're using it just for your iPhone, would a virtual PC installation be suffice? I think you could make it work that way.

Id virtual machine. It's still extra hassle though

It is hassle but saves rebooting your computer and making a mess of your system.

Its pretty self explanitry. I know somewhere MS let you download a virtual copy of XP to put on ** machine

I was under the impression that Virtual PC 2007 didn't have support for USB Devices?

Yeah that wont sit if thats the case. Who point of my exercise is for a USB device.

Swinnie is right. AFAIK, it doesn't pick up any USB devices. So, therefore, iPhone won't work as it's on a USB, no?

I think VMWare Server does have support for USB Devices.

Can you install from an ISO in VMware
You could in MS Virtual PC

So I have VMware running but I cant get it to pick up my iphone attached?

What proceedures do I need to go through to get it to work.

Its not a clash is it since the computer I am on is probably talking to the usb device first?
