Could anyone point me towards/recommend a good (simple) guide, overview, FAQs etc for setting up dual booting?

Recently got a new games machine with windows 10 and I'm getting quite a number of games crashing and black screens (where the monitor is not even receiving any input). Seems lots forums point towards it being an OS thing, and I'm thinking of putting on win 7 too.

Will both OS's recognise games installed on a secondary drive ok and does virus protection etc recognise it as one account or does it ask for 2 licences?

Quite basic questions I guess and far too many more to put here so links/pointers greatly appreciated.

Thanks for that. One other thing, I have seen varying opinions on how large a partition needs to be for windows 7 & 10. Some stated as low as 20GB as a minimum and as much as 100GB. What sort of size do you guys like to use? I was hoping to split a 120GB SSD down the middle 60/60 but could allocate a section of my main 500GB if performance would benefit.
