When is Guild Wars 2 coming out?

I haven't played Guild Wars, do I have to play Guild Wars, before playing guild wars 2. Cause the story might be linked to the previous guild wars.

Just pre-ordered two copies of Guild wars 2, it's being released in 03-01-2012.

@wab, I pre ordered it from GAME. There are other retailers who also sell this. I choose GAME, because I had £42 reward points, so I used em.

Read their twitter. They are on the final parts of game, which means almost completed and wont be long.

I wonder what the requirements are for GW2. Anyone know yet. I'm running a Gtx 460 on a E4500 CPU Dual core, which is quite poor, and I know it's a bottleneck.
