I'm looking to give Guild Wars 2 another go.

I notice it is now free to play.

Is it worth trying to get my old account up and running that contains the paid game or is there No benefit of having once paid for the game and might as well start again?

Just waiting for a reply to my ticket as i've no idea of any of my in game character names and i need this plus the serial to reset my password.
