Guild wars character name :S

Hey guys!

Me and 2 mates are going to go back to guildwars for a laugh but it asks for a character name on login and none of us can remember what they might be! is there a way around this?

thought of looking at old scrn shots but have never played it on my current system so thats out the window

Email Ncsoft, I did that once and got a quick and helpful response...they didn't immediately give me the name though and wanted to know "part of the name or other names I'd used".

But after that email I then remembered the name lol.

It might be worth checking your screen cap folder (search for gw*.bmp or gw*.jpg if you don't know where it is)

Screen caps will normally have your characters name in the picture.

as eames has said, i had this problem too after not playing for years after they changed the sign in requirements. just email them and ask for some clues and maybe suggest some names that you think might be it, they will help you though
