Guild Wars (first un)

Ive had guild wars sat on my shelf for a while now, but never really played it, is it worth me starting it up and adventuring onwards, I only have the first one are the others required to enjoy the game?

The first one is easily the best out of the 4 to be fair, and the most enjoyable. You can quite happily play through the campaign and not have to worry about missing out on anything.

All that the additional campaigns will offer are new skills, professions and heroes, and the obvious weapons and armour, but you can quite easily do without all of these.

If you enjoy the first one, then you can purchase the others.
