I played guild wars a while back when it first came out, and have been considering going back to it again.

So, I am wondering if anyone knows if there is a multipack on the horizon that is due to contain all chapters of guild wars at a decent price?

If you look about theres a pack, but not for sale anywhere. (100quid apparently, but. not for sale anywhere.)

THe new chapter (4th) Eye of the north, is the first proper expansion to guildwars. There will be a pack which includes The first guildwars and this 4th "chapter" if you will.


Basically the company realised that bringing out a game every 6th months as an addon was crap, so made an omg huge proper expansion that is supposed ot be true to the original.


Do you still have your account? If so the expansions can be had for about a tenner each, with the new one probably 20 or so as its not out yet
 
I plan to repurchase the original too, as its been so long I would just start anew.

Its just that I am a little surprised that there seems to be no trace of a multipack for Guild Wars and was wondering if I had missed information on it. Especially since I could swear I saw a pack on an unnamed retailer a while back but have not seen it since and as far as I know it seemed to be withdrawn.

think i dont understand (sorry) you said you used to play? Means you had/have an account?


I've never personally seen a single pack for sale, maybe shops sell them together. Personally I say get Prophecies(original) and the new Eye of the North expansion. They are/will be the best 2
 
I plan to rebuy the original since its been so long since I have played it and I want to restart a fresh character so I get up to speed better (all my character slots are taken).

Also I can't bring myself to delete my old characters and I figure if theres some multipack on the horizon it would be just as cheap to get it as buying them all separately.
 
You can buy a few extra character slots for your existing account, that way you can start new characters without losing your unlocks!
OTOH the original Prophesies must be pretty cheap these days, so maybe your way would be cheaper, but damn, dude, all those unlocks! :(
