guild wars nightfall question

You wont be able to play with the Factions classes i.e. ritualist and assasin, but you'll have the full choice of others i believe.
You're not missing out on a great deal, theres a few things you'll want factions for if you really get into the game such as expanded storage but nothing that will take the fun out of the game.

Go for it and get Nightfall, it's looking to be way better than Factions and then, if you decide you like Nightfall, you can always purchase the other two chapters and add them to your account.

It all depends, have a go at a few - my first char was a necro/ranger, got him to level 20 and then lost interest. Then i become a wow whore like i am now

Anyway, cause mayhem with damage, the 2 damage dealing classes are warriors for melee damage, and elementalists for casting damage, i believe ele's can do more, it just depends if you enjoy getting stuck in on the front lines.
Or you could play a Dervish which is one of the new Nightfall classes, a scyth wielding holy warrior apparantly. The only problem is there's going to be millions of them as soon as the 27th hits.

same as me then, rangers seemed a bit boring though so i would deffo go for the warrior this time if i had the choice, but i dont sadly as wow is my game of choice now

Unfortunately the times wen't helpful for us Brits, so i just stuck my character on AFK while i went to work, came back and found i had 5 customised witches hats sitting in my inventory, 4 of which i had to throw away
Managed to get both the hat and pumpkin crown for my main 2 characters, plus a nice stock of alcohol and potions
All in all a very successful day! bring on the christmas event!
