I couldn't believe it when I went into my local GAME (in Darlington) and saw Guild Wars Special Edition for only £9.99! Been thinking getting this for a while so that 'sold' me as such. Great game, looks great fully cranked up too, reminds me of a 3d Diablo.

One thing that gets me though is how come when I'm in a town I see people dancing or do martial arts etc. Are these skills I need 'learn' or is it a case of simply typing stuff into the dialog box?

Now going to head over the the sticky to see what else i can find out.

if i remember just type /dance in the chat window, you can also play the drums (/drums) and guitar (/guitar), and lots of others i cant remember :)

Is guild wars the one where you don't have to pay online fees?

Certainly is :D

I've seen a few people dancing in sync with ghosts/spirits, i've always wanted to know how to do it.

hey up, its not a bad game, but i prefer wow lol.

i like the fact in wow its an online comunity, in guild wars you only see other players your grouped with or in the cities.

but for 9.99 i may have to pick it up again :D cheers for the heads up

it's a great game, has an interesting storyline and as has been said there are no charges. you don't have as much of a grind as with wow, plus you tend to have a lot more casual players which i personally prefer as some of these supposed 'leet' players have major attitude problems.

If I get SP edition can my account from my standard version of Guild Wars be transfered to it. I think SP has a few extra special emotions too. You must have seen the people with the glowing hands.

Don't quote me on this, but I believe that if you add the Special Editions' serial code to your standard install then you get all the benefits of having the SE version.

You should, but bear in mind you will only gain 2 extra character slots, and not have access to 8 if you were to use them seperately

I think he means just adding the Prophecies SE serial key to a standard Prophecies install.
