Guild wars

guild wars is cool. i just pulled out my disk from the old games pile and started a new charactor.

im going to get factions this summer.

this game actaully isnt a MMO. when your in a explorable area you have a limit in number of people in your team.

leveling up is easy and it dont take long to finish the entire game either

You can only play it online, and within the last 6 months i've experienced one server problem. Contrast that with WoW where not a week went by where i didn't have massive connection problems with their servers.

Bearing in mind GW is free compared to blizzards £60 million income a month its pretty amazing what NCSoft achieved.
 
Yup it's a very good game, you can quite easily loose a couple of hours to it :)

Join up with the Godless, thats the OcUK Guild, lots of help there.
 
Factions is stand alone but there are extra character slots if you have Prophecies (the first game) installed aswell.

There are 2 new professions (Assassins and Ritualists) and some additional PvP options and Guilds can now form alliances to fight for the supremacy of one of the two Factions within the game.

The graphics engine is a bit shinier too. :cool:
 
Just don't be an assasin there are millions of them in Cantha. Now i'm out of the noobie areas there are less ritualists around, they're not as popular but i like a character with a challenge, RT/N for the mini army :D

Be a monk in factions if you want to be popular.
