havent played it since the first prophecies...ive seen that a new one has come out recemtly called nightfall

has there been any dramatic changes?
like the koreans not winning all the time in the hall of fame?
is farming still doable?
is money in the game easily accessible?

is the game actually worth playing?
or could someone recommend me something more enjoyable.

has there been any dramatic changes? - There have been some big improvements to henchmen, you can now include 3 hero characters, who level up with your character and have customisable armour/weapons.

New inscription system allows for increased customisation of weapons and armour.

like the koreans not winning all the time in the hall of fame? - don't really play hall of fame, however i doubt thats changed since the koreans always have been fanatical gamers, you can't exactly give handicaps based on your location?

is farming still doable?
- i do a fair bit of farming with my 55 monk.

is money in the game easily accessible? - depends what you mean by easily accessible, how was it not accessible in the first game? most people who play till the end generally have enough from loot drops to get close to 15k armour, as long as they dont spend silly money on black dye etc on the way.

is the game actually worth playing? - i think so :p

oooh

thanx man...

i have fond memories of the game...i remember when goths were cussing chavs in the game when i was in arena area for PVP in one of the districts.

the people also in the game are so comical...u get people being idolized LOL because they have 15k armor or the latest max damage weapon. i think i might go back to playing it..but in fear of getting addicted again..

ive never tried GW - are the graphics better than WoW? i play a lot of WoW and really enjoy it but i would be tempted to try somehting new that either looked better or had more 'action' in it

GW is nicer looking (imo). WoW looks a bit low res and chunky after playin GW, though I like WoW's fantasy setting. It is more actiony yes, pvp is more central to the game than in WoW.

Most people i find who move from WoW to GW find it hard to understand why you can't roam around free or swim in the sea etc etc. Suprisingly they're also the same people who moan about the game being instanced except in towns.

If you give it a chance you might like it, its a bit more accessible than WoW i found, especially the end game content, it allows you to just play the game when you want to, not grind for hours a day to game some silly tier 3 armour.

The PvP is pretty fun and a lot more varied than WoW, mainly due to the superior skill / secondary class system.

main reason i played GW is because there is no monthly subscription. and i dont see any need to pay a monthly subscription to play a game online with others.. when you already payed for the game.

and i hate when they say "to keep the gaming server running"
they make enough bloody profit from selling the product game.

at least someone like GW admits this and uses it as a unique selling point to sell there game.
