Guildwars Nightfall Advancement

Iv'e been playing this for a few days now and have already advanced to LVL15, This is without leaving Istan, At what point do you advance to the Mainland? Is there any point playing if you cannot advance any more?

Also, at what point can I change my Secondary Class??

Can you give weapons / armour to your Heroes??

Lastly, how do you change you appearance? I see loads of people running round in cool armour and halmets and stuff and all I ever seem to be able to wear is the same crappy looking armour, the only thing I can seem to change is the color!

Other than this I'm loving the game.

You have to do the Consulate Docks mission to cross to the mainland.

Once there, you can change your secondary class, in the refuge place with loads of tunnels.

Yep, you can equip heros with weapons, runes etc - got into your inventory, and then select the hero at the top.

You get armour either from crafters for X amount of a resource, or Collector's which aree cheaper. Both are dyable.

The genius of GW is that its not about levelling up your character, but finding new skills and professions and combining them in new ways, then using the various armour upgrades and options to optimise your player.

Its great because unlike WoW where only the most dedicated players can get the uber armour, anyone in GW can get the top end stuff without years of hardcore gaming.

Concentrate on your build, not your level.
