Guinness Diet

you'd be massively lacking in fibre. I think that your digestive system would struggle somewhat.

that and your liver would hate you.

Someone wrote to New Scientist to say that it was possible. But only if you drank thirty-seven gallons of Guinness a day. Which would have a number of undesirable side-effects...

You can live off milk easily..
Babies do.

Technically we shouldnt be able to, its a mutation in humans in western countries. We're supposed to lose the gene that produces the enzyme lactase when we eat solid foods and we do to some degree.

There is a high degree of heredity in food intolerance. For example Asian, African and Native American people are much more likely to suffer from lactose intolerance than western Europeans.

Count me in:cool:

As a muslim, the "guinness diet" would simply be out of the question for me, as alcohol is forbidden in islam. For others, I would say a couple of weeks before your health deteriorates significantly.

Are you for real?

And no, I'm not saying I didn't know that alcohol is forbidden in Islam culture. I'm talking about the two posts in the past half hour, by you, that begin with "as a muslim".

You'd bugger yourself up, a balenced diet is ideal and you wont be getting that from few different foods.

I think it's an excuse so people can drink beer all day, guilt free.

I'm sure you could live off it. There are 200 calories in each pint, so about 13 a day would be enough... Although I don't see where you would get protein from. Or vitamins. Or minerals...
