Guinness Surger Help (Or Electronics Experts)

So I've plugged it in, and the unit is making a continous clicking noise.

Then, when I push the button, it emits a high pitched bleep lasting 2 seconds.

What's going on?

What, in electronics, does a continous clicking sound usually mean?

The Guinness Widget is a neat feat of engineering and it does pour a halfway decent pint from a can, compared to what you’d get from a keg at a pub, but if you live in the UK you have another option as of this month. The Guinness Surger is a electrical device with a small metal plate on it; you pour a little water onto the plate, put a pint of the special Guinness Draught Surger Beer in place and then turn the power on, sending ultrasonic pulses up through the beer to create the creamy head we all know and love.

Sounds good.

I've no been told you can pick them up in the local where I live, which wasn't on the Guinness website. I feel guted now! Should I go and pick one up, or just get Guinness to repair this one?

go and pick one up would be quicker and easier.

sorry for delay been on t3h phone!

Yeah but I'm left with the broken one!

I'll pick one up... get the broken one repaired, and sell it on to my mate. At least I'll gain 2 cans of Guinness and another pint glass! :D
