I've just played the hero 3 version and loved it. But if I get the 2nd vesion can I still play it with a joypad?? I'm 37 ,married with a child and I cann't really been seen playing a fake guitar in my front living room window at 2am in the morning can I?

Is it easyer on the guitar / can i make do with a joypad????

just buy it :D

Then when 3 comes out (1 month) you can have yourother half join in too :D

Oh and for the record I look like an absolute arse playing but hey ho :)

Also using the pad means no strumming which removes part of the fun of the game :(

wireless guitar is available from nowhere in particular for 45 delivered.

Guitar is a different whole game to pad (as i found out at GT12 LAN!!) but the pad will limit how good you can get you'll never finish the harder levels no question

No competitor hinting ;) ~ Zefan.

Did you actually play?

Or was it just a quick shot at my machine so you didn't embarress yourself?

(wow my spelling is good tonight :()

Dude, just shut the curtains :p

seriously! get the guitar, its incredibly fun, and it makes you feel like the guitarist from some rock band :D

your wife will probably want to try it too :D

For the love of god get the guitar! you wont regret it. Tried the multiplayer using a pad and it was horrible, if you like the game with the pad you'll love it with the guitar.

mine just laughs at me tbh

guitar all the way though, the fun is in the feel of playing a guitar, rather than pressing some buttons on the pad

and of course adopting the correct stance..you cannot play it sitting down!

Me too. I've never actually played a GH game on a guitar and I tried the GH3 demo with the pad last night and the Scorpions song brought back memories from my youth (a long time ago). I'm so tempted but as my mrs plays the guitar/piano/sings really well and I used to play drums (for real) I honestly can't get past the... but... but.. I could just play an instrument for real..

Aye. I play the guitar too, so wondering if its really worth paying £60 for it. Probs will though

After playing GH3 Demo and Borrowing a mate's GH2 (He has 2 copies, 2 guitars and wouldn't let me borrow one and him and his housemate are still addicted) I just wanna get a guitar and nail "Hit me with your best shot" :D Saw GH2 w/ guitar for i think 59.99 in a supermarket last night, almost bought it!
