Guitar Hero 2 black borders

I have a quick question regarding guitar hero 2 on the 360. I'm using the MS VGA cable hooked up to my Viewsonic VX2025wm with the resolution at 1280x768. Is it normal to have a small black border running around the screen? Is this just something you have to put up with when playing this game on a widescreen monitor? Just thought it was strange as it doesn't appear with any of my other games.

im playing it on a widescreen monitor and im pretty sure i dont have a black border :confused:

Same. I'm on widescreen (though 1360x720) and I don't get a black border.

Its weird, I can't think whats causing it.

I get it aswel. It was fine when i used component but when i started using VGA the border appeared
