Black Sabbath, Beastie Boys, ZZ Top, RATM and Rolling Stones all have good tracks.

If you say so, i can just about concede Paint it Black as a half decent tune, but the rest........

You have not even given the least awfull songs as examples of its not badness.

No, i just dont like a lot of the songs on there, am i writing off the bands as a whole?
NO.
Just the choice of tracks, which to be fair, is not the best.
although there are some bands on there that dont have a good track to their name.
 
Oh there are some crap songs there. As well as a lot which I haven't heard of. I had never played GH before so when I got GH2 most of the music was all new to me. But I have to say after playing it I now own most of the albums from most of the artists. If you asked me last year if I had any album by The Police I would have laughed. But it grows on you.

The rest I cant say I have heard of them. But I'm open minded about them. I'm just getting at that while Muse might be the one you are looking forward to... saying the rest are tripe doesn't really show you have a very open musical taste.

EDIT: I agree that there are better songs. But I put that down to the music publishers. Rock Band does seem to have the better tracks from artists
 
I wander how insanely hard the hard version of metallica - one will be XD
I can't imagine dragonforce as a guitar hero track as the players fingers will explode during the solo.
This is gunna be so awesome!

except for AFI and bloc party ¬_¬
 
Im looking forward to Dragonforce after seeing the video of it. It offers lots of notes but not so stupid like Jordan. I just need to get past that damn solo and then I would be fine!
 
Some very big name bands in there that really get you going... but the choice of songs from the bands leaves you thinking 'What The Hell!?'

That intros actually quite easy...it's the main 4 minute solo you have to worry about :P
