With the release of Guitar Hero III soon to be upon us, a friend of mine from Gamespot was nice enough to tip me off on the full set list for the game. He has all the songs by stage, including encore and extra songs you can buy from the store.

To be honest, some of the bands in the extras section are foreign to me beyond Dragonforce and Lacuna Coil. But the set list is solid top to bottom and I like the way the difficulty looks to escalate all the way to the top where we get probably the hardest song of the bunch in Metallica's "One" Hit the jump to see the full listing.

Think im going to have get a monitor so i can put me foot on when playing the maiden song! All not 100% confirmed but it seems legit, cant see any band mentioned before that dont appear on the list.

I know its not the right forum but im not sure about the PC version though , I can see some good reasons why (prob add new songs easier) but i cant see it being that great on the PC, doesnt seem to be a PC type game IMO.
 
I still have questions about this. Remember its an entirely new engine by a different developers. I'll wait for a review to see if Neversoft have pulled it off, after the abysmalness of THPG my faifth in them has taken a battering :(

I know what you mean i couldn't believe it at first but its true

Today, Aspyr Media announced a partnership with Activision and RedOctane to bring Guitar Hero III to two more platforms: the PC and Mac. While Tony Hawk studio Neversoft handles the console versions of Guitar Hero III, Aspyr will be independently developing and producing the two new editions of the game. However, the two new platforms will feature an experience similar to that described in GameSpot's coverage of the console versions, including more than 70 songs in its setlist as well as online multiplayer modes. Rated T for Teen, the PC and Mac versions of Guitar Hero III will be available this fall.
