Guitar Hero 3 - Rock Band 2

Can the tracks from Rock Band 2 be used on Guitar Hero 3 in any way?

Getting GH3 tomorrow as it's only 35 quid with guitar in a High St. store.

Rock Band 2 has some great tunes but is pretty expensive.

I'm fairly certain you can't use any Rock Band DLC with GH.

However, you can use the GH guitar with Rock Band, then you'll just need a solus copy of RB2.

Correct.

Definatly can't use DLC with one another - however the guitars work pretty well with each other. (I use GH2 guitar with RB2

)

They are completely different games coded in different ways. There's no way RB and GH music will become cross compatible.

RB DLC is compatible with RB2 and vice versa. GH DLC is only compatible with the game it was downloaded for, i.e GH3 stuff doesn't work with 2 or WT. I think Death Magnetic is the only exception.

Yes, you can.

Think you can use the RB1 kit with GHWT, don't know about the other way round.

Other way around works fine.

Best bet is buy GH3 + guitar, solus RB2, rent/borrow RB1, transfer songs and rock out
