Well, already we've got one 'confirmed' band:

Queens of the Stone Age

but no confirmed song, im assuming it'll be from the new Era Vulgaris album out this june 12th :D

Anyway, any bands/songs you absolutly must have in the next game? I dont think i even need to mention who i want in it, pretty obvious. Plus i really like QOTSA so im happy already.

I did like the idea that one of the creators suggested though, he wanted more artists to record songs specifically for the game like Buckethead - Jordan in GH2. You agree?
 
I'd love to see a track by Faith No More. There's some excellent riffs in their tracks, mainly the early ones with Jim Martin on the guitar.

Something like Epic, Midlife Crisis or Surprise You're Dead would be great.

Green Day
Jimmy Eat World

Could name many many more but I think the above are the more realistic out of those in my head.
 
i did wonder where metallica were in gh2 or something like slipnot. then again i think when it comes to guitars then muse should be in the next one, deffo.

oh yeah just noticed you said metallica. queen is on download content and avenged sevenfold is a bonus track in gh2
 
Id love to see some Metallica, hopefully One. Dragonforce and Dream Theater for sheer finger aching insanity. Clutch because I think it would work very well as a mid career song, Daft Punk - Aerodynamic :D

They have been trying to get Metallica, but Metallica are very picky about how their music is used, same reason theres been no Zeppelin so far. Hopefully now the game is getting so popular they might change their mind and realise the publicity potential. Of course i just want to see a Guitar Hero - Metallica Edition :D
 
I hope Buckethead is in it, should be an easy song, maybe something i could do on GH since im quite dire at it :)

I know, but I don't want to have to buy an old song (and not one of their best anyway), nor do I want an bonus track.

I want more, fully featured tracks.

Would be 'authentic'-ish two because its mostly a series of mechanical notes. Can just imagine everyone playing it going 'Bwuh?!' towards the end :D

How about "Come on feel the noise" by Quiet Riot, almost impossible to learn on guitar, insane fast guitar play and its fun to nod your head along to :D
I just want more metal and rock, something like metalcore would get my vote, insanely fast riffs :p

Not One or Justice for all though! Fantastic songs, One is my fav Metallica song, but ill be worn out by the end of those two!
I would hope the next one will take a leaf out of the new Singstar book and have a huge online website for downloading songs, so you can pick your own!

Surely Dyers eve would be the best guitar hero song on Justice :) I'm crying just thinking about trying to keep up with the twiddly section!

Holy jesus. Paint it Black, Cherub Rock and Knights of Cydonia, can't friggin wait! Considering Cherub Rock and Knights of Cydonia are two of my favourite songs to play on the real guitar! :D
