I've been getting insanely close to passing raining blood on expert now - I can now pretty much pass the mosh, sometimes I fail after it but most of the time I fail at around 85-91% on the solo as I have no star power

Been playing the demo of this and i love it so im going to buy it.

Which version shall I get, 360 or PS3? I'm assuming they are identical?

Apart from the current compatibility with rock band. As it stands, PS3 drums don't work. I believe they are fixing it. Oh, and achievements

360 version prolly better imo, still got thousands of people playing it online .. PSN had few players even when newly released.
So if you plan to play it online at all then grab the 360 vers

How do you guys play so well on this? I'm struggling to beat Slash on medium only because my fingers don't want to move as fast as I need them to.

Is it just practice makes perfect?

Yes it is, your fingers will get stronger and your muscle memory will improve. I started on easy about 11 or 12 months ago as GH3 was my first game of this type and while I can't complete GH3 on expert due to it's insane difficulty I have gotten to Cult of Personality (damn crazy solo) and completed Rock Band on expert

What scores do you have on easy? Get 5*'s on most of them as well, they help a lot.

Have you got the achievement for 750,000 on a song yet? I'm wondering whether I would be able to get it? There isnt much choice I don't think - the German one can hit it but I think it needs to be an almost FC which I couldn't do

i need tips on hard mode, so it seems i can master medium now and i just tried hard mode (slow ride). i couldn't even break the 50,000 barrier. i wanna do hard mode so badly since im finding medium to slow but the thing that always gets me is the orange button, i mean i cant reach down that far and whenever i place i finger there i always fumble.

I move my whole hand down. so that top finger is on red and pinky on orange, when green is need shift the whole lot back up.
