Holy thread revival

Just bought this for the missus today. have to say, its very good.

She loves it, in fact, she has not put it down since we got home. Button addon gizmo works very well, comes with strap to make it more comfortable, and a plectrum strummer. I am very impressed, but more importantly, so is she

i only had a quick go the day before launch cause we got it in early at the shop

its not bad, but its not great. I found it to be a little unresponsive and the tracklist isnt the best. Though i was well chuffed to see Anna Molly - Incubus there

its good for what it is though, but not like any of the other GH's

It's not bad at all. Girlfriend has spent the weekend playing it as well. :/

I feel the grip is a bit unnatural but it seems to play well when you get used to it.

I think it looks great and it seems to be picking up some good feedback. I think people forget you're playing on a portable console - it's not supposed to replace Guitar Hero on your console of choice. It's in addition to, for when you can't get to your 360, 42" telly and guitar...

It's alright i've been playing it in work but I wouldn't buy it personally.

I enjoy Guitar Hero purley for getting right into it and feeling like a rockstar!

It's not too bad, i've never played the other GH games before but i think that actually helps as i don't have any expectations.

The only problem i've found is that occasionally on the harder difficulties the touch screen can't seem to keep pace with the pick, but that might just be my crapness.

I had this for just under a week and it's gone back for a refund as I just couldn't get on with it. The grip feels really unnatural for a start; I couldn't get comfortable holding it. Then there's the problem with the grip constantly sliding out of it's slot; you lose your game progress and have to power-cycle if this happens. I spent half my time checking to make sure it wasn't getting loose. Finally the touchscreen just doesn't manage to keep up with faster playing; I was forever missing notes een though I'd strummed them.

Overall a nice idea and I really wanted to like it but the execution let it down
