Guitar Hero PS2 wireless controller on pc?

I have a usb converter so I can use my ps2 controller on my pc.

Now would the PC version of GH3 support a wireless ps2 guitar from the PS2 version of GH3?

The wireless transmitter will plug into my converter just like my controller, but would it work correctly with the game?

i think it should work as i remember hearing somewhere that they are all compatable . though i just use the standard pc guitar controller.

Is there a demo I could download to test? I don't want to shell out for the game only for it not to work

This will definitely work, but.. you will need to use somthing like xpadder to map the controller to keyboard keys.
