Guitar Hero Rocks The 80's

I just got hold of my copy ahead of the official release date

I have to say it is not as good as GH2

It gives 30 new songs to play which is nice but some of the cover versions are just not up to the quality of those in GH2.

Plus it seems to be to be considerably easier than it's predecessor.

But hey it's guitar hero so I like it just the same

Thats a bit dissapointing I was semi looking forward to this even if I was dubious about the song quality. I'll still get it and hopefully enjoy it

Who is this made by? is it harmonix or neversoft? and does it use the new guitar hero 3 engine (i assume not) or the existing one? because i thought activision got the name but not the engine when they bought red octane.

It's harmonix last entry in the GH franchise

It's basically just GH2 with new songs and a face lift in an attempt to make it look more 80's

Game play is exactly the same as GH2

oh and I guess I should mention for those that don't already know this one is PS2 exclusive

Its out on friday any1 getting it? I am can't wait to thrash to Iron madien's warthchild and I run (Vice city track on the adverts) Sad to see harmonixs leave the development of this franchise.
