Guitar Hero Songs

Hey guys,

Is there anyway of getting hold of the guitar hero 1 & 2 songs, or transferring them or something?

I want to try some new songs as i've played GH3 ones to death, lol.

They should be available on the marketplace or something... I can't find any copies of the older versions anywhere

Is the guitar hero 3 controller compatible with guitar hero 2??

Try second hand stores/auction sites for the games on their own.

You could use your GH3 controller with GH2 and buy a few GH1 songs from the 360 marketplace

The GH3 Guitar works well enough on GH2 but I find you that Activating Star Power on GH3 with it is a bit hit and miss. Using the GH2 controller it's fine. Weird.

I didn't see any other songs besides the Foo fighters pack, Velvet Revolver one and the Warner Bros one (linkin park etc) alongside the boss battles? :confused:

he means the DLC for Guitar Hero 2 itself, however you'll obviously need GH2 first. Plus the DLC is a bit rubbish anyway, some My Chemical Romance songs (urgh) and packs made up of one dull, one average and one great song from GH1. The only problem is that the hammer-ons and pull-offs were so radically different in GH1, it means the DLC for GH2 is far far too easy with the new, easier system
