Guitar Hero.

Hi,
So i recently got an xbox 360 and have been looking for some games to buy, i've seen guitar hero 3 for £40 inc. delivery which seems a reasonable price as you get the controller aswell.
I've never actually been on any of the guitar hero games, so really just wanted to know what people thought if it's worth buying it?

Lol, i think i should, the store i first looked at, at that price has sold out already, luckily their's another online store that has the same price and stock

edit: i hope i got it, site now says out of stock also but it says it after i placed my order so i should be lucky. must be quite good as it seems to have sold out very fast.

You're right, just looked and the same store is selling just the guitar for £48.93, more than they're selling the bundle for which seems a bit daft.

Just so you know, a high street store was actually selling it + the controller for £35 recently, not sure if the offer is still going tho. Obviously i can't tell you which one, but it's a big one.

Just for the record I was nagged by mates to get this but refused as I thought I was far to cool to mess with a plaggy guitar, **** that it is Amazing fun & I am glad I finally got one last week. I am 43 years old & sit in my front room with a plaggy guitar thinking I am kin Stevey Vai

Fun factor is off the scale & I've played it constantly since I got it. I've downloaded untold more tracks & built a play list & have it coming out my Hifi at Stupid levels

This game is a must have & I plan on getting RB1 & 2 & have a mate sending me GH2 as I type :cool:

I paid 17 quid for the game & 30 quid for the Guitar if I remember correctly which is doubtful. Just buy it NOW !!!

I just bought GH:WT full bundle a few days ago having never played a plastic peripheral game before and have to say it's awesome fun. I would say though that I find Rock Band to be the much better game due to the better song selection and DLC as well as how everything looks on screen (I find it much easier to see what your current score is, how much overdrive/star power you currently have etc).

If possible you should also buy Rock Band 2 and see if you can borrow/rent Rock Band to import the songs over.

Dammit, Oh well it's only slightly higher and if it's as good as i've heard/read then the difference is still worth it.

My other half loves Guitar Hero but it's the only game which gives me motion sickness

Shame really as I do like it as well.

I don't quite get motion sickness but I get the same effect that I get if I stare at a fishing float for a few hours, When I stop playing things still move for a while. I don't feel dodgey though & it goes soon enough.
