Was looking at getting a 360 and guitar hero but have realised you can get it on PC, anyone else use it on PC?
Wondering what it was like for being able to get more songs etc, prices per song?
And if the instrument is compatible with a 360, or would I be better off getting a 360 instrument and using it with my MS wireless receiver? thanks

I didn't even know it was out for the pc :s Never seen it anywhere in any shops!

I'm about 90% sure you can't buy any extra songs for the PC version. However, people on the net have modified the game so you can play your own songs, pretty sure that's illegal, so I wouldn't advise it!

The 360 wired guitar works fine with the PC version, as it's a USB connection.

Yep it's Guitar Hero 3

Also released for Mac!

The PS3 wireless guitar works with the PC version of GH3 if you download a little program. Works flawlessly

would appear all the controllers can work on the pc, but sadly it looks like its illegal custom content, and from reading comments/reviews its not even worth bothering with them. shame.

I don't know about the ps3 guitar, but you get simply buy a 15 quid ps2-usb converter and use the cheap wireless guitar of the ps2 on pc, you can buy it for around 25 quid new if you look around well

Also, there is nothing illegal about buying a wireless dongle for 360 and using the 360 wireless guitar on it or a 360 wireless controller.

But yeah both guitar hero 3 and guitar hero: aerosmith are out on pc. When you buy them with a guitar they are supplied with a wired GH2 guitar for pc...
But getting a 360 or ps2 wireless guitar to work on pc is no biggy at all.

you cant understand the other posts - and £40 for the old guitar wireless setup? id rather just have a 360 compat one!
Nobody thinks using a MICROSOFT wireless receiver with a 360 guitar is illegal.. i was refering to peoples custom content for the pc.
