Well I've been playing Guitar on and off for a few years (Probably more off that on)

I've started to play again recently but I seem to be stuck in a bit of a rut and dont seem to be getting any better

Do you think getting lessons would help? Or is there any free online tutorial things that I could have a look at?

Cheers
Chris

Thanks for the advice guys.
I do get frustrated when I cant do someting and thats what makes me put it down a dont play for a while.

For example i saw a video the other day on here of someone plaing that Canon rock so I thought I'd have a go an learn it but I'm struggeling trying to do pinched harmonics and its starting to get to me :(

Think its probably best to find a teacher. Roughly how much does it cost per lesson?

I think the current musician's union rate is about £24 (or so it says on the website of the teacher I'll eventually get round to booking lessons with).

omg £24 Is that for an hour?

Any one know of any good websites that i could get some help from coz I cant afford that much :(
