Guitar Pro 5.2 Error Message !!!

Right,

Basically i use some software called Guitar Pro, and everytime i try and open a guitar tab that someone has sent me, it comes up with this error message:

"erreur de verification d'etendue"

Does anyone know what the problem is? Or how i can solve it?

It's extremely irritating

Guitar Pro isn't a french app.. peculiar

The error is pretty meaningless really, it's just saying it can't verify the files.

Yeh, it isn't a french application at all, yet the error message comes up in french :S

I know it can't read the files, but i need to find some way around it, any ideas?
