I'm not sure how interested in this any of you are going to be, but I'll post it here anyway.
Basically, the thread was inspired by SidewinderINC's guitar project, in which he was sanding it down then wanting to do a custom art design on it. Well I have two projects on the go which are simular.
The first (and current) is the Encore project. My first guitar was (obviously) a crappy Encore, and whilst it's not worth much and is a rubbish guitar, it still holds sentimental value in being my first. Also, it's cheap
Which means I can break it and not worry about wasting £400!
So the deal with this guitar is to sand it down to the wood, dye it, then get all my friends to sign it, and laquer it up. It's more of a test to make sure I can do everything right before I start on a more expensive guitar.
The second project is the Maverick project. The Maverick X1 was actually my second guitar, but due to not knowing how to use a Flloyd Rose, I didn't use it for a LONG time. Having blocked the Flloyd Rose, I've been using the guitar for all my eMinor stuff, and I've realised how much of a lovely guitar it is (sans Flloyd Rose).
Anyway, due to the project, I thought I'd create a blog site for the project. Seeing as the Encore Project is the only active one, that's the only available page at the moment.
